Gratitude: the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness

Have you ever heard someone say, be thankful for what you HAVE and you will live a happier life? I like to think that I practice thanks on a regular basis but truth be told, many times I speed through my days overlooking the most simplistic things that should bring utmost happiness. Life has so much beauty to admire and appreciate. And for that very reason, I’ve decided to start a [30 day] Gratitude Journal where I will document 5 things that I’m grateful for each day. My goal is to draw awareness to the things that I would typically take for granted but that should be greatly appreciated.

06/08/2015:
01. watching my stomach morph from movement of the baby
02. the crunch of cucumbers
03. hot shower on a dreary, cold day
04. motivational videos
05. the smell of my husband's cooking

06/09/2015:
01. the sound of my kitty purring
02. successes of my challengers
03. a toaster
04. rain storms with thunder
05. success partners

06/10/2015:
01. smell of coffee percolating
02. personal development on audio
03. hands-free bluetooth 
04. sleepover at a friend's house
05. rest stops with bathrooms
06/11/2015:
01. my Mom
02. my husband's drive
03. comfort of returning home
04. Boston radio for sitting in traffic
05. Million Dollar Listing on DVR

01. daily notes from the universe
02. manicures

04. ice makers on fridge door (especially crushed ice).
